T(P)ES-32212MGT(OS2 Pro generation) is a compact router switch with a 80W PoE budget, designedfor rail, metro, and 24V vehicle Ethernet systems. It integrates 12 10/100TX + 21G/2.5G + 2 10/100/1000T ports and 8 PoE 802.3af/at ports. The switch supportsLayer 2 management, NAT, Ignition PoE timer off, AUTO-FEED configuration, MQTT,security functions, and health diagnostic snapshots for reliable onboardnetworking. With WebGUI, full CLI, and OPEN API support, it ensures easy setupand efficient central management, ideal for fleet and AIoT applications.Certified to EN50155, ITxPT, and E-marking, it guarantees proven performanceand reliability for transportation environments.

 T(P)ES-32212MGT is designed with dual powerinputs that accept 9V~32VDC for 24VI vehicle use, and 16V-32VDC for 24TVI trainmodel and is capable of withstanding EMI/RFI interference in the onboardnetwork as well as environmental shocks and vibrations. The redundant powerinput design integrates inrush current protection also protect against polarityreversal. Additionally, the galvanic isolation feature shields the system frompower transients often present in onboard networks. The switch complies withITxPT public transport standards and E-marking. It also meets the requirements of ISO 16750-2P5A, reducing the impact of high-frequency pulse voltage that could be incurredby motor applications.

 

EmbeddedInner-lock push-pull connectors ensure fast installation and connectionreliability (-PP model)

 The built-in inner-lockpush-pull connectors give the switch small-footprint design and forspace-saving cabling installation. They ensure quick, tool-free installationwith a simple push. Most importantly, their secure locking mechanism providesunwavering reliability, preventing accidental disconnections crucial fornetwork uptime.

 

SupportPerpetual/Fast PoE; PoE budget up to 80W for 8 Ports with PD detection, auto PDreboot, scheduling and PoE & Ethernet galvanic isolation

 Fast PoE andPerpetual PoE combined provide uninterrupted power delivery for criticaldevices. Fast PoE instantly supplies power after startup, while Perpetual PoEmaintains power during switch reboots or upgrades. Together, they ensurecontinuous, reliable operation of Powered devices (PD) in mission‑critical environments.

 

TPES-32212MGTsupports maximum PoE budget of 80W with advanced PoE management features,including PoE auto-detectionand scheduling. The PoE detection function can identify if a connected PoweredDevice (PD) becomes unresponsive and then auto-restart the PD. Moreover, PoEscheduling allows for a pre-set power feeding schedule based on a routinetimetable. Each PoE port can be enabled or disabled, and it providesinformation on voltage, current, power (W), and temperature.

 

Galvanicisolation between the power input and Ethernet power system enhances safety.Extra PoE galvanic isolation on 802.3at/af ports insulates the power input fromPoE Ethernet ports, preventing damage from cabling and grounding incidents tothe Ethernet switch.

 

Sleep Mode & efficient PoE timerunder Ignition-Off Stateon IGN model

 The PoE-IGN model supports network operationfor up to 60 minutes before entering Sleep Mode (0.048W), preventingunnecessary reboots when power is restored. It also includes a configurable PoEtimer, with a default delay of 10 minutes after ignition-off.

 

The Ignition timer allows flexibleconfiguration of both individual PoE port shutdown delays and system shutdown(Sleep Mode), ranging from 30 seconds to 60 minutes (default: 60 minutes). Thisdesign eliminates the need for additional relay wiring and enables remote PoEtimer configuration anytime, from anywhere.

 

mDNS(Multicast DNS) and DNS server/client feature and MQTT-role of Publisher orBroker, ITxPTInventoryservice, X status

 T(P)ES-32212MGTsupports mDNS (Multicast DNS), enabling hosts within the LAN to discover andcommunicate with each other following DNS protocol, without the need for atraditional DNS server.

The switchalso functions as an MQTT Publisher or Broker, sending data to the broker whichthen distributes the “payload” to subscribers efficiently using a lightweightprotocol.

In addition,the switch supports ITxPT Inventory service, X status, DNS-SD, and MQTTprotocols for comprehensive remote monitoring of Ethernet switch status.
